Product Overview
EKE5000 features a built-in solenoid valve and controls the operating interval of Air Knockers.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it supports independent A and B operating lines and provides IP44-rated protection against water splashes.
The controller accepts a wide input voltage range of AC 100 to 240 V. A DC 24 V version is also available as a made-to-order option.
The timer can be set from 1 second to 99 hours, and the LED display provides clear visibility of settings and operating status.
In addition to timer-based operation, the controller also supports operation count control for greater application flexibility.

Wide-Range Input Voltage for Greater Application Flexibility
EKE5000 features a universal single-phase AC 100-240 V power input, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The output voltage matches the input voltage supplied. A DC 24 V version is also available as a made-to-order option.

The timer uses a bright LED display for clear visibility.
Timer settings can be easily checked at a glance, even in dimly lit work environments.
Easy Timer Setting
Timer settings are easily adjusted by selecting the desired time range with the built-in switches.
Time settings range from 0.5 to 99 seconds, 1 to 99 minutes, or 1 to 99 hours, providing flexible operation for a wide variety of applications.
Adjustable Operating Cycles
In addition to timer interval settings, the controller supports operation cycle control. Cycle counts can be set from 1 to 99 or continuous operation, enabling efficient process control.
The remaining cycle count is displayed during operation for easy monitoring.
Standard and Alternating Operation Modes
When Air Knockers are divided into A and B lines using a pilot-operated solenoid valve, the controller can be switched to alternating mode, allowing the A and B lines to operate alternately. This function is equivalent to that provided by the HKE Series Air Knocker control panel.
For applications using only the A line, particularly when long timer settings are required, Standard mode is recommended. The controller is factory-set to Alternating mode.
Control Multiple Air Knockers with One Control Panel
EKE5000 is designed to operate Air Knockers such as the RKV, RKD, and RKVS series. The maximum number of Air Knockers that can be operated simultaneously under a standard piping configuration is as follows:
RKVS15: up to 10 units
RKV/RKVS20 and RKV/RKD/RKVS30: up to 8 units
RKV/RKD/RKVS40 and RKV/RKD/RKVS60: up to 6 units
RKV/RKD80 and RKV/RKD100: up to 4 units
RKV/RKD120: up to 2 units
The above figures represent the maximum number of units that can be operated simultaneously per operating line.
Relay piping enables operation of up to 10 Air Knockers per operating line, regardless of model type.
IP44 Protection Rating
EKE5000 features an IP44-rated enclosure for protection against water splashes and dust.
This allows reliable operation in a variety of environments, from dusty industrial sites to outdoor installations.
External Signal Control
EKE5000 can receive external signals through dry contacts, allowing Air Knocker operation to be automatically triggered by hopper discharge valves, conveying lines, and other process equipment.
It also enables convenient remote operation as part of an automated control system.
Unlimited Operating Cycles & External Signal Control
By setting the operating interval with the timer and selecting unlimited operating cycles, the unit continues operating while an external signal is active, providing greater operational flexibility.
Easy Test Operation
EKE5000 offers a simple test operation function that can be activated using the power switch and ENTER key.
This allows quick verification of Air Knocker operation before timer setup.
EKE Wiring Precaution
By connecting a switch (dry contact) to terminals 2 and 3 on the terminal block, EKE5000 can receive signals from external equipment for automatic operation.
