High-Frequency Vibrator Automatic Inner Vibrator ADS series
Product Overview
EXEN has developed the ADS (Automatic Drive System), an innovative solution that automates high-frequency vibrator operation using your existing high-frequency vibrator power supply. The system consists of an ADS control unit that processes start and stop signals and an ADV vibrator that detects those signals.
The ADS automatic operation system includes one ADS control unit and two ADV vibrators: ADV40VA (6M) (Ø40 mm) and ADV50VA (6M) (Ø50 mm).
The automatic vibrator operation system activates the vibrator only when its vibrator head is in contact with fresh concrete. This eliminates manual ON/OFF switching, improving efficiency and reducing labor requirements. By eliminating unnecessary operation, the system reduces heat buildup, lowers power consumption, and improves overall efficiency.
Key Features
Easy Operation with Automatic Concrete Detection
With ADS, vibration automatically starts when the vibrator head comes into contact with fresh concrete and stops as soon as it is withdrawn. This eliminates unnecessary switch operation, reduces heat buildup in the vibrator head, and helps streamline concrete placement.
Compatible with Existing High-Frequency Power Supplies
ADS automatic operation system works with your existing 48V-series high-frequency power supply, eliminating the need for a dedicated power unit.
ADS System Overview
ADS automatic operation system is used by connecting the ADS control unit, which detects when the ADV vibrator comes into contact with fresh concrete, between the high-frequency power supply and the dedicated ADV high-frequency internal vibrator. ADV vibrator operates only while in contact with fresh concrete and automatically stops when withdrawn, providing simple and user-friendly operation.
Switchable Between Automatic and Manual Operation
With the optional 4P–EP30 conversion cable, the ADV vibrator can be switched to manual operation and connected directly to a high-frequency power supply. Manual operation is useful for troubleshooting ADS malfunctions and checking ADV vibrator performance.
Enhanced Safety with Automatic Operation
ADS sensing voltage is set at a safe low level to minimize the risk of electric shock, allowing concrete placement work to be performed safely and with confidence.
Next-Generation Vibrator for Energy-Efficient, High-Efficiency Performance
ADS (Automatic Drive System) automatically starts and stops the vibrator by detecting contact with fresh concrete, eliminating unnecessary operation. This reduces heat buildup in the vibrator head, lowers power consumption, and enables more efficient concrete placement while helping save energy on the job site. Automatic stop control also reduces operator fatigue and enhances safety during concrete placement.
Automatic Operation Function Check
Before concrete placement, always verify that ADS is functioning properly.
* The system can be tested with the ADV vibrator powered OFF.
- ADV Vibrator Check
After turning on the high-frequency power supply, confirm that the ADS power indicator (green) is lit. Touch the supplied sensor clip to the ADV vibrator head. If the ADS output indicator (red) illuminates, the system is ready for automatic operation.
* This test can be performed with the ADV vibrator powered OFF. When powered ON, vibrator operation can also be verified.
- Pre-Placement Check on Site
Turn on the high-frequency power supply and confirm that the ADS power indicator (green) is lit. Attach the supplied sensor clip to a nearby rebar or tie wire, then touch the ADV vibrator head to the rebar or tie wire at the concrete placement location. If the ADS output indicator (red) illuminates, the system is ready for automatic operation.
* This test can be performed with the ADV vibrator powered OFF. When powered ON, vibrator operation can also be verified.
Work Safely—Always Turn Off the Power and Switch Before Leaving
Although the vibrator will not operate unless it detects the sensor signal, always turn OFF the ADV vibrator’s inline switch and the inverter power supply before leaving the work area, including during breaks. This helps prevent unintended operation and ensures safe site operation.
