Installation method for Vibration Motor [Channel Welding Method]

motor_img01_eng.gif

This section describes the welding method when using the angle (or channel).
When mounting the vibration motor to a hopper that is not designed to be vibration proof, weld the angle or channel to the hopper surface to reinforce the surface and distribute the vibration widely.
The welding for the hopper surface should be intermittent with a pitch of approximately 3:2 (welding: no welding). When mounting the vibration motor, ensure that the motor mounting surface is level.

(1)Weld the angle (channel) intermittently and to prevent cracking, do not weld both ends.
(2)Longer angle (channel) provides protection from stress and minimizes the vibration effect on the hopper.
(3) If the hopper has a lateral rib, weld with the angle (channel) applied to the rib.
(4)Firmly fix the motor with high tension bolts, flat washers, spring washers, and double nuts.
(5)Use welding rods with high tensile strength.
