Calculation of Centrifugal Force and Amplitude

amplitude_img01_eng.gif

As shown in Fig. X, vibration motor generates the centrifugal force in all directions.

The following calculating formula is obtained from the general formula F = mrω2.

However, as an old method that is known widely and generally, if two vibration motors are installed to the same steel construction and are rotated in the opposite direction with other on the same wiring, as shown in Fig. Y, the following actions are generated under the condition of F1 = F2.

Fig. Y-1 shows that left and right forces F1 and F2 are synchronized to generate the double force, and Fig. Y-2 shows that left and right forces F1 and F2 annihilate each other to zero. Tracing along trajectories in Figs. Y-1 to Y-4, the vibration as in the vertical piston method can be generated. This applies to the table vibrator shown in Fig. Y-5. In addition, tilting the direction of the force allows the materials to be fed in horizontal direction while being jumped up and down, as a vibration conveyor.

Because A。is the half amplitude, the total amplitude A is as follows.
A = A。 x 2
A = Total width (m)
F = centrifugal force (N)
W = vibrated mass (kg)
f = frequency (Hz)
