San Xia Dam (China) Introduction

The world's largest dam built by the middle region part of Chang Jiang (Yangtze River).

Overall length:2.3km.
Overall height:185m.
Electric generating capacity:18,200,000 kW.

Five steps of ship gates (elevator for ships) are prepared, and 10,000t class of a ship can be risen and fallen.

Merowe Dam(Tanzania) Introduction

The biggest river in the world which goes the eastern part of the Africa continent north from inland, and flows into Med.
White Nile which flows out of Lake Victoria in Tanzania.
Blue Nile which makes the Ethiopia plateau in Ethiopia as a source.
The point where these two Niles join is the Khartoum north Merowe of the Republic of the Sudan capital.
The greatest dam in Africa is built at this Merowe. The purpose is power generation.
On the dam in Japan which we consider, there is nothing and please consider a bank with long die length.
Extension 9.3km. Height 70m.
The Nile River is not dammed up completely, but the work is carried out so that the flow rate of water may be adjusted and a lot of water may flow by an electric-power-plant part.
Placing concrete started at 2005 and it completed in 2008.

Jin ping Dam(china) Introduction

The Upper Dam and Lower Dam exist in a Jin Ping dam:
People's republic of China /Sichuan / Xichang
It takes 1h by airplane from Chengdu, and it takes 6h after that in a reserved road. It is the unexplored region in China which a foreigner does not come into.
It is under construction to Yan Lu Jean which is the branch in Chang Jiang, and is a completion schedule.

TEKEZA Dam(Ethiopia) Introduction

TEKEZA dam introduction the dam in Ethiopia,following the Merowe dam project.
The TEKEZA dam is made by the branch in origin Lake Tana of Blue Nile. This Lake Tana is located in the Ethiopia northwest, and is a maximum depth of cut of 15m, an area of 3000 sq km, and above sea level of 1800m. It is said that 80% of the Nile River water source is occupied.
